Jim is the Director of Aviation for the Aspen/Pitkin County Airport. Jim has extensive airport management experience with a broad background in airport operations, administration, finance and project management.
Jim is responsible overall for the airport’s mission to provide airline and general aviation operations to the community.
Ryk is a principal with Barnard Dunkelberg & Company, one of the nation’s leading aviation consulting firms. Ryk works throughout the country on airport planning and environmental projects. He has been working with the Aspen/Pitkin County Airport for many years.
Ryk is leading the Runway Extension Environmental Assessment and Climate Action Planning Projects and assisting with the Master Plan Update.
Sheri is a principal with Bluegreen, an award-winning planning and design studio located in Aspen. Sheri’s passion for design at the highest level is cultivated from 20 years of experience in site design, landscape architecture, and sustainability.
Sheri is assisting with the Master Plan Update.
Jeanette is principal of Darnauer Group Communications, an Aspen-based, nationally-recognized PR and marketing communications firm. Jeanette’s 30+ years of experience revolves around brand positioning, messaging, community relations, environmentally sustainable practices and innovative graphic design.
Jeanette is assisting with the Master Plan Update.
Brian is the Assistant Aviation Director of Administration at the Aspen/Pitkin County Airport. He is experienced with project management and airport operations.
Brian oversees the administrative, financial and customer service functions, as well as security and ground transportation.
Mark McFarland serves as Vice President & Principal Planner of Barnard Dunkelberg & Company. He has expertise in project management, forecasting, goals formulation, creative issues resolution, airport design standards, airport plans development, and capital planning and programming.
Mark is assisting with the Master Plan Update.
A former Roaring Fork Valley resident, Scott is a project manager with Jviation, a regional aviation engineering and planning firm. Scott has 15 years of progressive engineering experience in airport design and construction. He has spent the past seven years focusing primarily on work at the Aspen-Pitkin County Airport, encompassing almost every asset on the airport property.
Scott is the overall Consulting Program Manager for design and construction at the airport, and a key team member on the Master Plan efforts, focusing on the terminal area.
